We're called Pro Player Goalkeeping for two reasons:

One, because 100% of our training curriculum comes directly from former 12-year pro player and pro coach, Hunter Gilstrap.
Two, because we believe when you combine the Passion that comes from doing what you love with the Reps it takes to build the right habits, you get the Outcomes you desire. That's our simple formula: P + R = O

Pro Player is here for GK's of all levels and backgrounds, regardless of club affiliation. We want to help as many GK's as we can. Period.
We offer private lessons, group training sessions, camps and clinics for goalkeepers.
One session, and you'll know why we're different from the rest.

HUNTER GILSTRAP
Owner & Head Coach
Goalkeeper education has been a passion of Hunter Gilstrap's since he was young. Throughout his 12-year pro playing career and then during his time as a pro coach, Hunter was simultaneously building a reputation for developing elite youth GK's. He started and operated the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Goalkeeper Academy from 2010-2021. He also had collegiate coaching stops at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. His combined experiences led to an opportunity to work with US Youth National Teams in 2017. After moving on from pro coaching, he started the GK4FREE Podcast as a way of providing valuable free GK content to those who may not have access. Pro Player Goalkeeping is the next step in his journey.
WILL MARSHALL
Staff Coach
Will is an up-and-coming Pittsburgh coaching talent. His coaching experience includes the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Pro Team, University of Pittsburgh men's soccer, Director of Goalkeeping for Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy, and Virginia Tech University men's soccer. Will was recently appointed Director of Goalkeeping for Allegheny Force Football Club, where he played club soccer during his youth. Will played college soccer at the University of Pittsburgh and West Chester University, where he helped lead the squad to a NCAA DII National Championship game during his final season. Will also runs Marshall Fitness, a full-service personal training, health, and wellness coaching company.
KEATON JENNINGS
Staff Coach
Keaton is a former NCAA Division I goalkeeper at Robert Morris University. Most recently, he played for Steel City FC in the NPSL as part of their club record-setting 2023 season where the team finished first in the Midwest Great Lakes conference and were ranked as high as #2 in the country. He’s been featured in the NPSL National Team of the Week twice. His coaching experience includes goalkeeper coaching at PA West ODP, Arsenal FC, Pittsburgh Hotspurs, Beadling SC, and Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Keaton is an experienced goalkeeper coach who will help lead Pro Player's Group Training sessions.
KEASEL BROOME
Staff Coach
Keasel Broome is a former pro and international goalkeeper for the Barbados National Team. During Keasel's pro career, he spent time with the San Jose Earthquakes of MLS, the New York Cosmos, the Harrisburg City Islanders, and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Keasel played college soccer at Providence University. He has coaching experience with Duquesne University men's soccer, Beading SC, and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy, among many others.
JULES MARSHALL
Staff Coach
Jules plays college soccer for the St. Francis University Women's Soccer Team where she'll be a senior in Fall 2023. She grew up playing club soccer with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. She first started training with Hunter Gilstrap in 2014 with the Riverhounds Goalkeeper Academy and continued throughout her youth soccer career. She graduated from Serra Catholic High School in 2020 where she was team captain as well as 2x all section recipient. Jules is excited to work with Pro Player to pass on her knowledge and experience to the next generation of up-and-coming Western Pennsylvania goalkeepers.
